Do you remember what it was like to be a child climbing a tree? How massive the tree felt and the challenge that it represented? Then, once you were up in it, it seemed like (for once) you were looking down on everyone else. This is, obviously, not the thought process of a kid, but I think that subconsciencly this is what we all experienced. I love the tones in this shot, and throughly enjoyed being able to take a few shots of this child.
I like this father/son shot. Tarik (the father) was kind enough to let me take a few shots of him and his two sons. I love the expression on his childs face.
The longer I look at her face the more I like this shot. The soft shadows excentuate her facial features well. I feel like I have captured someone in a moment of expression. I'm not sure what she was singing, but I feel she is in the middle of a song about a lost lover. Just my take on it, though.
