This was taken just before they were attacked by a cheeta. Kidding... it only got the baby zebra.

I'm starting to get ahold of this whole panning technique.

I was going to Nashville and saw the sky forming into a beautiful sunset. I got this shot from a farm off some random exit.

Another attempt at panning.

I've been fortunate enough to take some shots for my school. This was just some fun that I had at attempting "panning".

This is a personal shot. If you really want to know, ask. In terms of composition, I really like this. The shading came out nicely, also.

To my Fam: May we never forget the joy of a cup of coffee and some Bubba Pope flowers. :-)

The is probably the last of the Chicago shots. One of my favorites. I Hope that it conveys how perfect the day was.

This shot seems a little ironic to me. Man put the main branch there, but the building is so old that, if you click on it you can see more easily, vines are growing on the building. There is something about the composition that I don't really like, but all-in-all I thought it was a decent shot.

This picture, to me, is a little freaky. I like it b/c it makes me a little uneay, though. So, here is a different perspective on the other shot of these posters.

I was quite pleased with the over-exposure I got in this shot. I'm gradually becoming more sensitive to the message of a photo and not just the image. And FYI, I have not made any type of adjustment, this is a raw image.

I really liked this B&W of it. If you are wondering how long it took me to Photoshop this, it took all of about 3 minutes. This is, besides a contrast/brightness adjustment, a straight shot.

This is an Amaryllis that I was given for Christmas. There may be a couple more coming as it proceeds to bloom, but I liked this stage of its life alot, so here you go.

I found this stashed away in the hundred, or so, CDs I have with pictures on them. This was one of my favorite moments from the beach this summer. If I may, I would like to rant for a second about composition. I have found that the "thirds" are a great rule, but if you apply them to every shot you can just as well lost quality. I realized that I enjoyed this shot b/c it was all centered. The sand stops at center, the ocean stops at center, the horizon and water meet at center. This forces you to focus on the scene and not a certain aspect, as it was all beautiful. Ok... I'm done.
